In this example we used student registration data stored in the SIS to evaluate the equity and effectiveness of the registration process. By examining who is registering, what they are registering for and when they are registering, opportunities will arise for future improvement. These data are crucial in the design and execution of priority registration, course scheduling, orientation and even program planning. With the 'on-demand' nature of our analysis strategy, we can complete this type of effort without lengthy integrations or data mapping.
