More about Caleb
With 15 years of experience in Higher Education, Caleb founded Current Higher Ed consulting to assist higher education leaders in leveraging data to center academic operations on the students.
The past 7 years at Ad Astra Information Systems Caleb consulted over 150 Universities and Community colleges to create more effective practices in course scheduling, student registration, program costing and curriculum design. Outcomes from this work have been featured in numerous professional presentations, Higher Education news outlets but most importantly, the strategic plans that guide institutional strategy into the future.
Caleb specifically focuses on utilizing the data already collected in the student information systems and course catalogs to create insights that aid in future planning and immediate action. At the center of this focus is concentrating these practices on the balance between strengthening finances and student success.
Prior to Ad Astra Caleb worked at Academic Impressions, researching and presenting on best practices in student and academic affairs. He has also worked at Higher Education institutions both domestically and abroad.
Caleb lives in Lawrence, Kansas, with his wife and 3 children. He graduated from Emporia State University with a bachelors and master's in business administration.
